The Committee on Insurance monitors insurance issues that impact dental anesthesiology and advocates for coverage of anesthesia and anesthesia-related procedures in health benefit plans. The Committee also researches malpractice and liability insurance options and builds relationships with insurance carriers to identify benefits and resources that can provide value to ASDA members. In addition, the Committee stays engaged with the ADA on insurance-related matters affecting the specialty.
