Founded in 2011, the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists (ASDA) Education and Research Foundation is dedicated to advancing education and research in the field of dental anesthesiology. The Foundation supports initiatives that promote improvements in scientific procedures, techniques, products, and instrumentation, with the ultimate goal of advancing the profession and enhancing patient care.

The Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

The ASDA Education and Research Foundation is governed by its own Board of Directors, composed of ASDA members who serve independently of the ASDA Board of Directors. The Foundation's leadership includes a President and a Secretary/Treasurer.
