The ASDA Board of Directors is the Society’s governing body, responsible for conducting ASDA’s business, administering its policies, overseeing the organization’s affairs, and advancing its mission and strategic priorities. The Board is composed of the President, President-elect, Vice President, Treasurer, Immediate Past President, and four Directors-at-Large. The Editor and Executive Director serve as non-voting, ex officio members.
Active and life members in good standing are eligible for nomination to open elective officer and director positions. Nominations are accepted during the nomination period announced by ASDA in advance of the annual meeting, and elections are held each year at the General Assembly of members.
